Register
An application for an intake/treatment starts with a referral letter from the (family) doctor. The referral letter must meet the following requirements:
Name and AGB code of the GP
Whether it concerns a referral for the GBGGZ or the SGGZ
The letter must be dated before the date of the first intake.
Specialist and generalized Basic mental health care
The GP initially determines whether he/she refers to generalized Basic Mental Health Care (GBGGZ) or Specialist Mental Health Care (SGGZ). Generalist Basic Mental Health Care (BGGZ) is psychological help for people with mild to moderate psychological problems. The duration of the treatment is short to medium. Specialized Mental Health Care (SGGZ) offers help with serious, complicated or frequently recurring psychological disorders.
If I make a different assessment of this during the registration or intake, I will report this back to the GP and discuss it with you.
Intake
After registration, a short telephone contact will take place within 7 working days to determine whether we can make an appointment for an intake. If we can make the appointment, I will register you in my electronic client file. After the intake, the treatment can start immediately.
